Pricing and Booking
How much does a family photographer cost in Sacramento?
My sessions start at $175 for a 20-minute fall mini session. Couples sessions are $250, family sessions are $325, and Holidays at Home in-home sessions are $425. Travel and destination sessions are priced by inquiry.

How do I book a session?
Mini sessions are booked online by choosing an open time slot and paying in full. For other sessions, reach out on the Book Now page and we'll find a date that works.

Family sessions and minis include up to 6 family members. Additional people are $25 each.

What is a lifestyle photography session?
Lifestyle photography captures your family being yourselves instead of stiff, posed portraits. I help with locations and outfit advice and keep it fun, so the photos feel natural.

What is the difference between a mini session and a family session?
A mini session is a quick 20-minute session at a set location and date, with 12 edited images. A family session is private and 45 minutes at the location of your choice, with 30 edited images and more variety.

What is a Holidays at Home session?
Instead of a backdrop, I come to your home and photograph your family carving pumpkins, baking for Thanksgiving, decorating the tree, or celebrating a birthday.

Not at all. I guide you through the session and keep things relaxed, so all you have to do is show up.

What areas do you serve?
I photograph families and couples throughout the Greater Sacramento area, including Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, and Placerville. I also offer destination photography for most of the West Coast.

What is the best time of day for photos?
Most outdoor sessions are scheduled about an hour before sunset, when the light is soft and golden.

What should we wear for family photos?
Pick two or three colors that go together, like cream, rust, and denim, and skip big logos and neon. Every client receives a What to Wear Guide after booking.

Yes, pets are always welcome.

Mini sessions move to the rain date. For other sessions, we'll pick a new date together.

Photos and Delivery
When will we receive our photos?
Edited images are delivered in a private online gallery within 14 days. Rush delivery in 5 days is available for mini sessions.

Yes. Extra images are $15 each, or you can get 50% off the full gallery.

Yes! I photograph surprise proposals, engagements, family reunions, anniversaries, honeymoons, and vacations in places like Lake Tahoe, Napa, and the Northern California coast.
